Cook County Treasurer - Senior Property Tax Deferral Program

Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas reminds homeowners that the deadline to apply for the Senior Citizen Real Estate Tax Deferral Program is March 1, 2021. State law does not allow extensions of time.

She has published a new brochure about the Deferral Program, which is attached here.
