The Village of Schiller Park will be completing maintenance work on Crystal Creek during the week of May 23, 2016. This maintenance work will take approximately 3-5 days to complete and will between the hours of 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. The timing of the work is dependent on the weather and excessive rain may cause the timing of the clean-up to be altered. Village of Schiller Park employees may need to access the creek channel through the rear easements of your property. We would ask for your cooperation in working with the Village to complete this maintenance work.
The maintenance work to be completed will include the removal of excess plant growth within the Crystal Creek channel that can impede the flow of the water and restrict the amount of water the channel can hold. When completed this maintenance work will be beneficial to the function of the creek channel.
